Search on individual page

i am searching the data on individual page and i am getting the data also. But the problem is that when ever i search some text in input box, datatable is reset to 1st page. for example, currently i am on 5th page and i am searching data then when i type some text in text box, it will show the search data of 1st page(by default). I want like if i search on 5th page then datatable should remain on 5th page only instead of going back to 1st page. please provide some solution.
