Hello all,
I'd like to apologise the the exceptionally long downtime last week (it ended up being 8 days!). On Friday evening I lost contact with the server, and after a prolonged exchange with the guys who host the physical machine it turns out that there was an issue with some control software which was causing the interface to drop packets. This has now been resolved (indeed DataTables.net and my other sites are now hosted on a different server) - and hopefully we will not see any more downtime.
On the plus side (such as it is), it has given me the opportunity to work further on getting DataTables 1.5 to a release point. Another beta will be coming shortly, and I'm happy with the progress being made with the unit tests. Expect more on this soon :-)
