Deferrender on scroller

Hi, I tested Deferrender and it works well on Paging.
But when i use scroller without paging, Deferrender renders the entire list.

deferRender: true,
data: this.get("contactHistory").raw(),
scrollX: true, //horizontal scroll
scrollY: "100%", //vertical scroll table height

i used this to log.
"createdRow": function( row, data, dataIndex ) {
console.log("row creation");
},

am i doing something wrong?

will there be an option to specify number of rows to render in deferrender?

Do you have scroller enabled? And if you have serverSide enabled, then deferRender is not used.

You cannot disable paging when Scroller is enabled (it should actually throw and error if you try that).

This blog post from 2011 explains how Scroller operates (ignore the Ajax error - sorry about that!).
