How to save the following link contents to my current directory ?

i want to save the contents of the file jquery-1.12.3.js to my current directory.
Steps which i followed:
Copy+paste -but the system got hung.
open gedit and tried copy ,paste but the action is irresponsive

It isn't a DataTables issue, so it is out of scope for this forum.
If you can't copy and paste into your text editor then I would suggest you change text editor's or contact the support group for that text editor.
