Filter by date dont work on Server Side correctly

Hi!
I have a dataTables on server side and work fine
But! when i try filtering by date (click on colum top) the filter dont work correctly

I do the same on other page, but without server side, just the query
i try the same filter by date and workd correctly.

I´m using moment.js to transform the date string 26-09-2016 in to 26 Sep 2016
without server side work fine
But using server side the filter dont filter correctly.

What could be the problem?
