when I try to click pdf in safari,pdf opens in new tab.Instead I need the pdf to be downloaded in respective folder.

Yes, I'm afraid that this is a limitation in Safari rather than in Buttons. Shipping Safari does not currently implement the APIs that the other browsers do to be able to create and download client-side files.
There has been a lot of work on this on the Webkit bug tracking this feature recently, so I'm hoping that the next version of Safari will have this ability.
