How to use a dropdown (html select) with the inline editor?

I just can't seem to find documentation on using a select with inline editing. Please let me know how to do this!

Hi,

You shouldn't need to do anything special - any field type will work automatically in inline editing mode.

There is an example showing inline editing with a select element here (the final column in the table uses a select list).
