dataTables_length + change display format from dropdown to button sequence

I have a requirement wherein I need to change the dataTables_length format from dropdown to button sequence. Please let me know is this achievable by any means?

Use a custom button which calls the page.length() method.

Alternatively you could use pageLength or this plug-in.
