Dynamically changing infoFiltered and infoEmpty

I'd like to include my search() results in the text returned from a filter op, in order to give a tailored hyperlink to an external resource. Any ideas?

To clarify, I'd like to change the infoFiltered and infoEmpty options after a search(), using the text from that search.
