Hi i've been looking for an answer to this question and there doesn't seem to be much out there. If you look at the image i just want the export buttons to be the same size as the search bar can i do this with css selectors? or even in the datatable.js page.

Use CSS. I'd suggest right clicking on the buttons and select "Inspect" to see what the styling applied to them is. I suggest that method rather than just giving the solution as it looks like there is already some custom styling on those buttons, so anything I suggest might conflict.
