Hello,
I am looking for feature print support for complex headers, it looks like it removes top header. I saw post https://datatables.net/forums/discussion/34899/complex-header-printing bt it's an year old and not sure if this feature is now included.
Also if I am willing to do it my self, please share areas I should look at changing.

Have a look at this PR which says it adds that. I haven't had a chance to review it yet.

This does not print in Excel and PDF, only print.
That is correct. Your original post only mentioned printing which is why I linked to that PR. As you note it doesn't support the Excel and PDF output. There hasn't been any work to support complex headers for those output formats yet.
