Datatable is "very static"
i don't see the (huge) amounts of EXCEL formulas
to calculate anything
to have TOTALS of a column
etc

Does it exist ?

This example shows how you can calculate totals in a table footer.

The goal of DataTables is not to copy Excel, or even to be a spreadsheet for the web - Google Docs and others do that.

Having said that, some kind of formula's plug-in for DataTables is something I've wanted to do for a while - just not had a chance to do so yet.
