Overflowing content with Bootstrap 4 and responsive plugin

As you can see there is a bug in combination bootstrap 4 / responsive plugin. It is even on the example page:
https://datatables.net/extensions/responsive/examples/display-types/bootstrap4-modal.html

Alter the width of your browser viewport and you will see, that sometimes the right table content will not be aligned with the search field on top of it. When you inspect the code with google chrome, you will see that the table is outside the col boundaries. The table overflows the available space.

Is there a quick way to fix that?
