Date sorting

hello good evening i have bi project i am doing with asp.net 2.0. I'm displaying data using jquery datatables pulling from sql. but my rankings when sorting are 2017/1 2017/2. when I choose to sort by 2017/1 2017/10 2017/100 2017/2 sorting is doing. how can i solve it? Thank you
