Strategy for saving changes back to MYSQL

Are there docs to guide me on the way.

I am using the Editor so I presume I can find a 'datatable / editor update' event then read the row data and call a php file to update the tables.

Am I on the right track here ?

There are PHP and .NET libraries provided that can get you started.

I now have a datatable linked to my data and updating.......
