Use of date range filter with export options

Hello,

I have used the export feature of Data Tables, now I want to use the date range custom filter also, but whenever I try to include date range filter it is giving JavaScript error and I am not able to use the date range filter.

My requirements are as following:

I have the result set with date and status column, now I want a custom search filter which can fetch the data on the basis of selected date and status.

I have no idea how to do this with Data Tables. Date range filters are looking very complex.
In my result set dates are coming with time as well.

Please help me on this.
