column header will become shrink

hello alan,

please see the below image -->

datatable header <th> css width will become 0px unless i click on that header...

here is the another image when i click on header

i assigned inline style width as 100px then also thier is no change in the issue...

please help me out ...

i thought it is a bug

Same thing is happening to me, i just copied example table to may page, it's located in one tab of tab panel and that is iside of resizable side panel, problem is that header size will remain the same even after i resize the side panel, table content etc gets correct width but headers will stay the same size.

What example? Can you use JSFiddle or http://live.datatables.net to recreate it?
