Server side DT is redrawing on screen resize

I have a DT that uses server side processing to pull the data. I recently noticed that it pulls / redraws everytime the screen size changes in height or width. Not a big deal on desktop, but on mobile devices with the auto hiding address bar it is causing serious problems.

I have another DT using server side and it is working as expected. I can't figure out the difference. Did anyone experience this? I can post some code if needed.
