customizing the excelsheet

Hi allan,

Datatable plugin is really superb..

I just wanted to know is there any way to customize the excel sheet that we export from this plugin..

and can we apply any styles to the excel sheet contents?

It really helpful if we can do so.

Currently no - I'm afraid not. The Excel export is actually just a UTF-16LE CSV file, which Excel will happily ready, it's not really an xls formatted file. That is on the to-do list, but not yet done.
