No fix in the works as this is the first report I've had of such an issue I'm afraid. Hopefully it shouldn't be hard to resolve though. Can you e-mail me the
datatables.jsfile you are using so I can take a look please? allan @ this-domain.net. You'll probably need to rename the file to .txt rather than .js.Thanks,

Thanks for the e-mail. It looks like the issue is in the pdfmake library that is used by Buttons to provide the pdf export.
There is a discussion about it here in the pdfmake issue list. IE8 appears not to be supported by them at this time I'm afraid.
