Is there any plugin available for Excel like autofill / suggest ..

I'm not sure what the fiddle is supposed to do. However there is an [AutoFill}(https://datatables.net/extensions/autofill/) extension you can try.

@kthorngren I am looking for a functionality where when user starts typing in an input box on editor, the available options should autofill in the box as it happens in excel..

and user should still be able to type ... so that the user does not have to use mouse to select options.

I think the autofill plugin doesnt support that at the moment.

I did like your text prompts, I can see how that would be useful. I had mailed Allan for comments, so he'll get in touch at some point. As you say, the DataTables AutoFill extension just moves existing cell data around, it doesn't give suggestions like yours does.

Thanks for the clarification of what you are looking for.

The Select2 integration plug-in for Editor more or less does what you are looking for (I don't know that it will fill the whole word in automatically, I think the user has to select it from the list of options - you'd need to look at the Select2 documentation).
