Seems like the functionality has failed.
https://datatables.net/extensions/fixedcolumns/examples/initialisation/size_fixed.html doesn't work anymore as expected.

Thank you - I agree. What is happening is that the browser is attempting to reduce the table to its minimum width. I'll need to get back to you on this one.

Is it possible to get an idea on when this maybe is fixed? We have an issue on our company gitlab for this, which is keep coming up every two weeks.
If it is going to take some time, we will close it.
Issue showed up on a second table in our application. Now not only on fixed columns, but on every coldef width. If i set width of a column, it is ignored when page is getting to small.
