Using the Site Improve chrome extension I get an error, HTML is used to format content 1.3.1 Info and Relationships. If you use it on the home page of datatables.net you can see it is showing an error there as well. Ours is for valign, yours is for border. The error is coming from inline styling, is there a way to exclude inline styling?

I'm not seeing that error on the DataTables home page I'm afraid. I get:

Do "aria-describedby" attributes provide additional information?
Does the table have clearly defined headers?

In both cases I would argue yes for that table.

As you can see on that table, it's displaying a border. The error we are getting on ours is valign, I'd like to get rid of the inline styling.

Attached is the screen shot of the error we are getting with the valign

Thank you. The screenshot shows that the issues on our home page isn't part of the DataTable but rather the syntax highlighting component we use. We should address that, but its not due to DataTables.

That said, the valign is indeed an issue in DataTables - it is defined here. That line of code could be removed if you don't want it. I've added a bug to our tracker for it.

    Thanks,
    Allan
