Using this post as an example, I am assuming that the black gear in the upper right next to the bookmark star (but for only 15 mins.) that is labeled 'options' when you hover over it, is only available for 15 mins. and provides a means to edit within the time frame.
If you don't see the black gear next to the bookmark star, it is not editable.
Correct. We used to have it set to be 5 days or something for trivial edits to be allowed, but we were finding that folks would ask more questions in a post or remove information which could make the thread very hard to follow at the best case, utterly useless in the worst case!
