Server-side info about visible columns?

Hi,

I'd like to know if there's a simple, built-in way to get server-side info about the columns shown or hidden through the "ColVis" button in a DataTable (version 1.10.*). Any hint would be appreciated!

Hi @bensmith ,

I don't quite follow - the visibility is purely client side. Do you want to send the visibility status to the server?

Hi,

Thank you very much for the answer. I understand I won't find the info server-side unless it's sent there. However, I just remembered that saving the state of the DT also saves the column-visibility, so the solution I seek might be there.
