Adding an empty row while focusing on a cell leads to showing up a form

Hello,
I followed the instructions from this answer https://datatables.net/forums/discussion/53077 which suggested this solution: http://live.datatables.net/puwumuyu/1/edit . The problem with this is that by focusing on a random cell before creating an empty row, the form still appears. Any help on this?

This here will do the trick - it's doing a close() before creating the new one.
