footerCallback & Individual Column Search

We're having trouble initializing a datatable that uses footerCallback to output column sums while also using individual column search... is this possible to do?

Is the individual column search also in the footer? You should be able to use two footer rows, one for each function. Similar concept as this but the column search in in the header:
