Can someone please confirm if datatables uses wp-plugins/wp-filebase:0.2.9.20? I got a notification about wp-filebase licence as we are using datatables in our application.

Nope, not at all. There are no dependencies on DataTables other than jQuery. This blog post here might help, I discussed how to use DataTables (and Editor) within Wordpress.
