Data tables export all the values?

Data tables export all the values?

minhalminhal Posts: 76Questions: 12Answers: 0

I am looking to export for all values in the data table. I have created a custom button which on click provides individual files for each values in the column. But the it is not exporting for all the values as its supposed to be. Is there any limitations for exporting files?
Here is the example

Thanks

Is this the same question in your other thread?
    https://datatables.net/forums/discussion/56767/how-to-export-for-all-values-in-a-column-filter#latest

If not then please be more specific about But the it is not exporting for all the values as its supposed to be.. What exactly are you expecting.

    Hi @kthorngren ,

It is a different question, as when you click the export button it will not download for all the different values. Like in this example http://live.datatables.net/jucekojo/1/edit we are looking for export for different names. So the export should be providing 60 files but it provides only 9 when you click the export button.

I hope I am able to make it clear a bit more.

    Thanks

Thats probably a limitation or setting in the browser for simultaneous downloads. I tried your example in Chrome and got 10 files. Tried Firefox and it looks like it asked me 57 time about saving or opening the file.

    Hi @kthorngren ,

Yes I also thinks its something related to the browser settings where it allows only a certain simultaneous download. Do you know how to resolve it?

    Thanks

It will depend on the browser you are using. This is not a Datatables specific issue. Maybe you can find the answer for your browser/operating system on SO.
