Scroll to bottom of page on editor close with escape key, but not with close button (Safari only)

Reproduced with https://editor.datatables.net/examples/styling/bootstrap4.html example on your site.

On that page, select item, hit edit and then close editor with escape key. Page scrolls to bottom. Close the form by clicking the 'x' close button or clicking outside the form, and page does not scroll to bottom.

Reproduced using Safari 12.1.1 on macOS Mojave 10.14.5. Using Chrome, the problem is not reproducible.

What's the trick to avoid scrolling to the bottom of page when closing form using escape key?

How odd! I don't have a Mac handy at the moment I'm afraid, so the first thought that springs to mind is to try an updated version of Bootstrap. Do you have that example running locally? If so, update to BS4.3.1 which might address this issue itself.
