How to make a hidden column searchable

Hello there,
I have a hidden column with search "keywords" and would like to make it searchable but yet still have it hidden. Is this possible and how?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @mhutchins ,

Yep, that's the default behaviour - see here.

    Cheers,

I'm sorry for the delay in response, I've been trying to figure this out. Is there a setting in the TablePress dashboard that can be used or do I need to add some code to make the hidden column searchable?

As I said, that's the default behaviour, so there's nothing you need to do.

Thank you for the quick response!
I'm a little confused. I'm using the editor and select the column and make it "hidden." When I do that that column is not searchable. Am I missing something?

I believe I'm in the wrong place. I'm sorry for the confusion. I was able to navigate to the right forum. Thank you again for your time though!!

With columns, you have searchable and visible - TablePress must be setting both. It would be worth asking on the TablePress forum page.
