Table seemingly too wide for Bootstrap card but reducing width has no effect

Table is too wide for card i.e. it will slide back and forth in the card (with slider selector appearing at bottom). When table width is reduced to 95% the table shows the effect but still slides on the card.
Temporarily disabling JS, resulting in a static table, cancels out the problem. Has anyone seen this phenomena and/or knows how to fix?

Sorry about that. Unfortunately, the page is running on local machine, and I could not figure out how to run a test case on any of the hosted examples. But your comment led me to the debugger tool. Thank you.
