fixedheader sets font size too large when scrolling down

I'm using the fixedheader plugin (CDN) on a very large table. However, the labels for the <th> when scrolling down grow too large and expand beyond the box. Please see the image below. How can I resolve this?

Take a look at this API method for adjusting the width of columns. It should help you out.
