Including search criteria in PDF output

I would like to include the search/filter criteria that a user enters, in the TableTools PDF output.

e.g. When the PDF is produced, I would like the text header to include something along the lines of:

'Your search criteria of X and Y returned the following results:'

I already serialize a form and send it to the database to select the main table results. But how can I include the form conditions in the TableTools output?

Any help much appreciated.
