how to hide columns after loading the table using ajax?

I made a table in which I hide or show the columns as needed. I also added the option to search by column, but the columns I made that appear hidden by default do not work the option to search. But I proved that if you hide the columns after the table data is loaded then if the search option works. So my question is how to make the table have a certain behavior but only after the data has been loaded correctly.
