Extension files location ?

Hi,
I would like to use the extensions for the datatables to add some features provided by the extensions, for that I need to download certain files, which I have done, but I don't know where to put them, so that they are loaded... I'm working with ruby on rails.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

I have the answer. Javascript file need to be copied to \app\assets\javascripts
css files to \app\assets\stylesheets.
