Hi
I am new to DataTables and finally got parent-child to work.
Is there a way to put the parent "filtering value only" into the child field when NEW button is pressed.

I don't follow the question, but this blog post may help - it's showing parent/child editing.
If that doesn't help, can you post more information, please.
