Broken image to be replaced with dummy icons in datatables used in laravel application.

During display of column of file type, the images are displayed with the help of img attribute with src corresponding to image files in public folder. But for other types of files, such as ms word, pdf, excel, zip etc how to replace it with suitable icons based on filename extension.
