Chrome CSV Import button bug

danielviannadanielvianna Posts: 15Questions: 7Answers: 0

I noticed this problem when I was implementing something on my website.
It can be found on the example:
https://editor.datatables.net/examples/extensions/import.html

Steps to reproduce the error:
Using Chrome Version 78.0.3904.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)
1-Export the CSV from the current table to use as an import CSV file template
2-Click on the Import CSV button
3-Click on "Choose File" or Drag
4-Select file and see the Map CSV Dialog
5-Do not proceed to the next screen and click on the close "X" button of the modal
6-Repeat step #2 by clicking on the button
Result: the windows 10 file explorer does not open up
Note: It doesn't happen in Firefox

Not yet, it's scheduled for the next patch, which normally happens every month or two. Allan logged it in our system (DD-1287 for my reference), and we'll report back here when there's an update.

Just to close this off, we're sweeping up a few outstanding issues, this has been fixed in a previous release.

Apologies - this was fixed a little while back and I forgot to update this thread. The current version 1.9.5 works with the example in the process described.
