Good evening

Saw the datatables supporter website here....where people can buy support credits and got mentioned either by name, text link or with a logo and a link...

Just have some thought about it if I should support datatables as well as editor...but....

How come that I see mostly dubios companies mentioned in the file of online casinos, financial and insurance companies?

Would I like to be mentioned with my logo/link in the same league as them?

Yeah - its an interesting topic this and one we've discussed internally. The majority of the links are for SEO (buying a back link). On a personal level I find that frustrating, and if there is any business that is obviously fraud or reported to us as such, we'd remove the link immediately. But I don't believe any of the existing links are, even if they aren't generally sites I would visit myself.

We've discussed limiting supporters to just those who can provably use DataTables. Or removing the supporters section altogether. But its a useful (if small) revenue stream for us.

Honestly, I don't know what the answer is. At the moment we've taken the view that if they want to support the project, then that is good enough.

For yourself - you've already purchased Editor, which helps us a huge amount, validating our product and helping to push its development forward.

You might want to put up a new section then.....like developers who on one side bought your editor plugin but also sponsored something for datatables...seen some software sites in the past where there is a page listing developers who use and provide services for their software...

Then I would definitively be in for that (o;

I even think about buying the editor plugin for my self as I want to replace my old admin interface doe my girlfriends online shop....datatables/editor seems just to be a perfect match (o;

Meanwhile I received "green lights" in my company to proceed with my ordering system...mainly based due to the great user experience with you stuff :-)

Just love it more and more every day (o;
