If I put a data table using the datatables editor in a jQuery UI dialog, when I click New/Edit button, the edit form is behind the dialog. I know it has to do something with the z-index in the css but I can't find the solution: could you post an example?

There's an example on the Editor pages. Could you look at that, please, and see if it helps. If it's still not working for you, please can you link to your page so that we can see the problem.

Thank you, Colin. I solved the problem: I did not include one of the js jquery library.
