Custom button in datatables

Hi,
I'm currently working on datatables custom button. I open a modal on button click. I want to know if there's any way i can give type and format to the textbox just like how it works in datatables editor? Thanks in advance.

I'm not following, sorry. You could try using Editor if that's the behaviour you want, otherwise, we're happy to take a look, but as per the forum rules, please link to a test case - a test case that replicates the issue will ensure you'll get a quick and accurate response.
