Does DataTables.net support Visual Studio 2019?

Description of problem: I loaded the example html code in a view, and when it loads, everything displays exactly as it should except there is no colvis button. Something goes wrong when it goes to the shared layout, but there are no errors and all of the scripts are loaded. When I load it as straight html, it loads with the button, but then I have to add the company logo, etc. and styling to get the page to look right instead of using the shared layout.
