Styling Issues with ThemeRoller

New to JQuery dataTables: Should be simple it seems but a simple table with ThemeRoller is not displaying properly.

Noticably the sorting arrows and the pagination.

Any ideas on how to resolve these issues?

Padding is also an issue it seems.

I have checked that the UI-Lightness CSS is the last CSS in the header.
