Is DataTables Removing my href url paths?

I am beyond baffled on this. I am using classic asp to put out a table. In one cell I am populating it with this url within an <a> elements href attribute. When rendering the href is stripped empty. I tried hard coding a url such as https://www.google.com and it seemed to work.

For whatever reason, when I attempt to open the page, the href is empty.

When I put the value of myRS("url") in the cell without the <a> it loads just fine. Any ideas?

I couldn't access your page, as it's password protected, but it seems to be working fine here. Could you look at that, please, and see if it helps. If it's still not working for you, please can you update my example so that we can see the problem.
