Is there a working example of a Select2 with Ajax anyway?

Hi,

I'm SO close to getting my datatable\editor WebApp live, but, I've hit a dead-end with Select2 at the moment.

So, would anyone be kindly willing to point me towards or share a working example of a Select2 that uses ajax for remote data?

I've got the select2 appearing on the editor form and loading the initial value, but I'm having an issue with displaying the remote data within the pulldown list and I'm struggling to find any good examples online (or ones I understand).

I did a previous post on here explaining my problem, but an example would really help
