Why most of the scripts are javascript? I though there should be Typescript now. Is there any directory for Angular only?
The main reason is historical - DataTables has been around for a decade, and the effort required to switch to TS would be too high for the gain. New extensions do use TS, see SearchPanes for example. For Angular, see here.
I'm not clear what you mean in your original question.
