Show message generation button file?

sometimes when generating a pdf file, excel, etc.

If there is a large amount of data, it will take a few seconds to generate the file, how can I display a message, generating file, without interrupting the flow of the program?

It should actually be showing a "processing" icon on the button at the moment. That said, the browser might not be painting it due to the single thread nature of JS. Have you got a link to a page showing the issue?
