I don't understand. What could a table do with a pdf? Do you mean put a link in a cell?

Yes, I saw this example, but I don't understand what I should change to make it work with pdf files

If you look on the "Server script" tab in that example, at the end you'll see there's a validator which only supports image files. You would either remove that to open it up to all files, or create your own validator just for those PDFs.
