I am new to datatables, but have a .NET mvc application using them to paginate data and allow for printing to .pdf and excel.
For some reason my search: text is displayed after the input box, can you please assist in how I can resolve this.

Odd. Can you link to your page so we can take a look,

I can't this is on an internal server, I can give screen shots or copy any code you may need though.
For anyone else that might be having this issue it was caused by some css that I had modifying the input label. Please check your css if you have this issue and use the chrome inspector to debug
